| Report: | Well where do I start with this one? Great game tonight Tame Valley must be thinking how lucky they were to sneak a tight match 3,2.? Richard “trick shot” Stansfield had Steve “rat catcher” Ivell well and truly on the ropes but just fell short in the 5th 12,10 fantastic match. Ben Caff couldn’t keep up the pace with Biggs and after a good start faded. Paul “get in the way” Worzley was his usual skilled master tactician and gave John “gentleman” Heston a harsh lesson. Karl “hog the showers” Brown having not played for 12 months was well and truly put to bed by Mike “steady” Potter. Then there was the star match up of the the night between Andy “Captain Marvel” Ranson and Nigel “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory” Medworth. True to his nickname he raced into a 2,0 lead only for Captain Marvel to peg him back to 2,2. Bring on the decider and once again Medworth raced into the lead even having match ball at 10,9 but the demons in his head and the tanasity of his arch nemesis saw him lose 12,10. 🤣 great match and night we’ll done Tame Valley |
