| Report: | HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY !!!
Fixture congestion meant that Uncle Geoff and his elves gave us the opportunity to run off our Christmas excesses a week earlier than most other clubs 🎅
Dabsy is still sunning himself on a carribean beach, Big Tom is still injured and Irish joe was unavailable so our second team were slightly understrength ☹
Frosty and wily old willo rolled back the years to their CCO days and a slow starting Frosty meant that willo sneaked the first game before normal service resumed and the hosts were one up.
Ethan has been improving steadily through the first half of the season and his speed around court caught Ketts off guard to deservedly win the first game but experience would overcome youth and the home team were two up.
Jonny beat Liam in the final of our Chairman's Christmas Handicap competition on 30.12 and proved too strong under regular scoring so the first team secured the bonus points.
Mark would get short shrift from Max.
Not to be overshadowed by his younger brother, hard hitting and speedy around court Tom bamboozled Cobberz to take the first game but once again experience would trump youthful exuberance and the first team had bagged 20 points to return to the top of the league at least for seven days !!!
