Report

Report: Tattenhall juniors travelled to Winsford, looking forward to pizza in the snooker Hall after the matches.

First up was Nathan against young Fred. Nathan was too strong for young Fred in the first game, with Fred a little nervous on the glass backed court. Then Fred found his rhythm and took control playing g some lovely squash to win 3-1.

Then two juniors at no3 string. Joe v Ethan. They had played against each other a few weeks earlier with Joe taking the honours. But tonight, Ethan played some controlled squash, keeping his focus, hitting good lengths and took the win for Tattenhall 3-0

Next up was the match of the night.Again two juniors, Holly v Liam. The crowd was mesmerised with some brilliant high quality squash. Long rallies, great lengths, cross court volley nicks, the game had it all. It was nip and tuck in every game with Holly just having that bit extra to win each game.

After that another scintillating match at no4 string. Laura was too strong for Ryan in the first game. In the 2nd Ryan was holding his own....he had 3 match balls and served out each time until eventually taking the game 23-21 tolevel the match. The match went to the 5th set which again went to the wire....Ryan sneaked it 20-18. A fantastic effort from both players.

Last on was Dave v Tom at no 1 string. Tom played some good squash, but, just couldn't get into the game at the start losing the first 2 with Dave playing some excellent squash. Credit to young Tom, he kept battling and got very close in the 3rd game.

Well great win for Tattenhall and a great night's entertainment for the crowd. Now it's off to the snooker Hall for pizza and a game of pool.
