| Report: | Heswall playing CCO away can only mean one thing ..... Stokesy making the short journey to Chester on his way to being a pain in the arse and staying the night with his folks !!
this means that he has now played more times at CCO than he has at Heswall!
for the majority of the CCO boys, this was their first serious game in over six weeks which caused Frostie to somehow forget that Ian is ten foot tall and kept throwing the ball up in the air and watching it land in the nick again and again and again.
However, Frostie dug deep, regained his composure and the hosts were one up.
on the other court hardhitting JD was putting willo to the sword with some amazing retrieving, covering every board on the court .... and that was just the first rally.
Whilst JD won the first game wily old willo brought his slow, slow then slower style to the party and CCO were two up.
Competitve squash all round between Charlie and Mike and then joseph and Smithy would see our guests claim a point a piece for their endeavours.
the match of the night was Graham v Paul where the scores on the doors did not reflect the respective performances as see saw squash brought the boys to 2-2, but it was the host who would prevail to secure a full house of 20 points for CCO to leapfrog Tattenhall, until Ketts pops their result on the website, in what is sure to be a nip and tuck battle at the top of the league |
