| Report: | with CV 1 not having a match this evening, young Ben and friend of CCO from pre-covid North East Wales Squash League Shane made the short hop from Div 2E to Div 3SW and the slightly longer journey from Crewe to Chester.
Whilst their superb squash was great to watch, injury and illness pushed willo and David Jack up into CCO 1 and Roy and Stu were unable to overcome the respective 1000+ ranking point deficit !
Frostie and Charlie look forward to crossing swords with these guys when CCO 1 visit CV on 2nd December.
Gareth bamboozled Rob with his unorthodox style of Squash to secure an invaluable point for CCO and Nolan overcame Stuart in the battle of the guys promoted from lower teams,
from a personal point of view it was wonderful to partake in the sadly eroded tradituion of 'away team players getting back to the home bar' to enjoy the company of Trev, Roy and Jacko and enjoy a drink with Whitby stalwarts Andy & Shaun ..... another small step to a return to normal !!
