Report

Report: Mrs Mac had gone into labour so Andy was off to the maternity ward, a replacement could not be diverted from the 4th team at short notice so CCO were one up!

the lead did not last long as once again wily old willo could not get any change out of Pete who was too hot to handle and the match was all square
.
at three, Graham and tom traded games and the home player edged ahead but was to squander a couple of games balls and find himself two one down, Tom got ahead and stayed ahead in the fourth to enable our visitors to get their noses in front.

CCO played Deeside on Tuesday night which meant Toughmudder and Frostie going head to head and toe to toe with Toughmudder winning 13-11 in the fifth which meant he would be playing Mike and showing no ill effects he sneaked the first and could, perhaps, have taken the second and if my auntie had balls she would be my uncle, but she doesn;t and she isn't and the score was level. from then on Mike did not look back and Toughmudder did not get a look in and it was wonderful to watch as Mike eased his way through games three and four to ensure that the bonus points would be heading back down the A540, although having dropped that game he would probably be wearing pink next Thursday.

Andy weathered fierce resistance from Frostie to take the first game and proved too strong to complete a solid win for the away team.

CCO travel to relegation rivals Woolston next week when hopefully a full strength team might be able to repeat their pre-Christmas win
