| Report: | It has been said that Whitby complain about having too many 3-2 matches, usually losing. Not tonight though.
John and Cameron on first, two totally different games. John started well but couldn' keep it going to lose in 3. Cam on the other court started
not so well , but got better to take his game 3-1
Tom next, as everyone should know by now he loves playing very fit and fast players, NOT. So yet again he dug deep to take another marathon .
Now for Shaun to show how his game has comie on in the last few games, Colin had other ideas though, taking the first two games with aplomb. Shaun was not daunted though and came back fighting to take the match into a fifth game. At this point Colin had nothing left and Shaun took the honours.
Final match up was Steve and Rhys, best game of the night two players who play similar styles, the difference being Rhys was fitter and the winner.
So another 3-2 match, but at least we won this one. |
