| Report: | Only one court at Barnton so it's a good job only one match went to five games otherwise it would've been a very long night!
1st match was the best of the night with Ian & Tam slogging it out to 9-9 in the fifth until Tam served out and the match was won on a loose stroke! Great match though!
Next up Paul and Leigh. A few heated points and with Leigh almost concussed when he bounced off Paul and ended up sprawled over the floor, he realised this was going to tougher than he first thought!
Next was Lee and me. Sadly I was strapped up with a knee injury and so any hope of nicking at least a game of Lee was a distant memory this time as I stumbled around court and Lee maintained his unbeaten run this season!
Jamie & Sad were next up. As usual, Sad was dazzling everyone with his fluorescent clothing but it didnt stop Jamie with some deft touches and Sad finally realising he was a left hooker after the match was over.
Last but not least was Mike and Andrius. Some quality rallies with Mike coming out triumphant.
All that was left was to go the club house for a quality takeaway Ruby and the ladies darts team and dominos to entertain us! |
