| Report: | Max and willo were sat in the bar idly watching the Chelsea match when a shadowy figure appeared on the big screen behind them, hitting a squash ball in the dark on court 1
a week early for Halloween, it was Mike Shennan warming up for his first NWCSL match since March.
Joe would weather a spirited fightback from Mike in the second and the hosts were one -up.
deja vu for Paul and Ian having travelled to the Cheshire countryside to play the Tattenhall young pups last week.
This week they were up against the older and definitely larger ~ wily old willo and Big Tom respectively.
willo got off to an absolutely flying start to go two up, suffer a setback in the third before playing get ahead, stay ahead squash to win the match in the fourth,
Ian would show some amazing fitness and retrieving in covering every board on the court but Tom's superb racket skills would be just too much.
it would be a similar story at No 1 string as Silver Fox Steve would overcome Matt in four extremely tight games and also at No 3 with Max edging past David,
So a clean sweep for the home team but 4 points did not seem to be a fair return for the endeavour of our guests
