| Report: | Well Whitby turned out with injuries as did the Mollie but this turned out a right humdinger, up first Kav and Shaun, Shaun soon got in the groove and was 2 up in no time and full of the joys of spring when Kav found a chink in stoutys armour and came back to win the match. Sat on the other court to another 3-2 thriller against Steve coming back again to win the match. Mollie 2 matches then Jeff and Lorraine take stage Jeff off flying the Mollie skipper thinking game in the bag but the young lss had other idea's and came back to take the match in great style against the Welsh wizard. Nige stormed off to 2 up and Gareth was a bit short of match play and took a while to get going, Nige won 3-1. The match now all even for Roy and John to battle out with a great final game, all square at 2-2 but Roy dug in to take the win. Great match well done Whitby. |
