| Report: | Great game tonight vs Moss farm, its always a close game and so it turned out.
A draw on the night but one game decided the outcome.
Up first was john who as a player who is on the up!! Keith on the other hand had a different opinion? Oh it was so close, John at the last just managed to play that one shot more to take a very closely fought win.
Next it was hot shot Mark and Superfast Paul. Another 5 setter. It came down to one simple factor, Paul was fitter. Mark huffed, puffed and ultimately failed as Paul literally ran out the winner.
Nigel, not going on court in the best of moods( probs scared of losing) actually did the very thing he was scared of! and lost BADLY. To be fair the last game was a contest and goes a long way to show how good Nigel can be, but Chris said no chance and took the win.
Steve was next with the pressure of the previous team members poor displays. Actually put in what was the best performance of the night against Mandy. Not because he played his best, but because he adapted the best to take a win from defeat. Gold star.
2-2 and Shaun was panicking as he never likes to go on last and also for the win, his nightmare scenario. Graeme on the other hand was well up for the fight.
At 2-1 up to shaun, No one was confident of him taking Graeme down. Low and behold the advice given in previous games started to sink in and at 8-8, he decided to play properly and take Graeme by surprise by hitting hard and accurate to take the match for Whitby
As mentioned before very close and very enjoyable. |
