| Report: | Tonight was a game that could end up with either side taking the points, but with Mollington suffering some injuries it was Whitby that took the honours.
John and Andy up first, John with the seasonal heavy cold took the first two comfortably only to suffer those winter blues in the third before taking the points in the fourth.
Andy on the other court simply used guile and a tight ball to take his game in three.
Bob had an agreeable win with the least effort.
Finally with the match won, Tom and Shaun took centre stage. Tom complaining all through his game even though he won? He did have a valid excuse though, as he was involved in a car crash earlier in the day. Performance of the night for me.
Shaun on the other hand, under performed or should I say Phil played well and nearly took the points, Shauns excuse was that he'd momentarily lost his aplomb. |
