| Report: | Table toppers Neston were always going to be a hard nut to crack and so they were.
Bob and Andy up first, Bob yet again rolling back the years to put Pete to the sword.
Andy, still playing injured didn't hold out much for his chances against Potts, taking the first game was a bonus and going close in the second before succumbing to the inevitable.
John and Tom next. John off to a flying start taking the first only for Emyr to repay the pain in the second. Game three was the turning point and it went to Emyr and there was no comeback from then on for John.
Tom on the other court got off to his usual bad start until he had warmed his weary bones enough to spring a counter attack that saw him take the honours in yet another 3-2 win.
So its a final game decider again for Shaun and he didn't disappoint. Using his natural skills to slay the super fast James.
Another 3-2 win for Whitby its about time we started making it a bit easier for ourselves as were not getting any younger! |
