Their hugely successful pre season tour of Derry had boosted morale but facing title favourites St Asaph was always going to be a tall order and so it proved with Graham, Charlie and Joseph gaining little reward for valiant effort and Frostie getting no change out of George who is probably the best player in this league.
regular readers will know that there is no such thing as a 'dead rubber' and so it proved this evening with Nige and Hari going at it hammer and tongs but with the game edging in his favour Hari had to retire in the fourth game.
CCO have a new caterer this season ~ China Garden ,Charles Street Hoole 01244 313946 ~ which got a massive thumbs up from all.
