| Report: | well, Tommy & Shaun walked in like a couple of drug barons just returning from Cuba and they had, Shaun must have some in him as he had Paul all over the place with some great squash only the jet lag had set in and Paul could sense a chance and took it, next was Tom and Sat, another 5 setter, Tom being the gutsy player he is took Sat all the way but fair play to Sat kept his nerve to take it. Bob and Clive, again all the way to 5 games, Bob at 2-1 up looking like victory but Clive pushed on to take the win. Young John and the experienced Phil with some awesome lob serves and drops just had those extra few years to prove you need more than pace to win. Finally Kav and Mike, another 5 setter which to be fair could have gone either way, but possibly Kav's fitness helped. Great match and a good pint and crack in the bar as always with the Whitby Lad,s |
