| Report: | Great match tonight, a much weakened Whitby looking to just get a couple points against high flyers Neston.
Cam first up vs Andy a game of ups and downs for both players but in the end it was Potts experience and greater fitness that won out.
Next Andy and Eddie. Eddie got off to a flyer dominating the tee and control of the first game. Then Andy took control through good tight serving and excellent length of ball to take the next three games.
John back from the flu was eager to take on James, but James was just too fit and fast and took it in 3.
Shaun another fitness casualty ( just come back from Mexico) So Jealous. vs Lewis. shaun took the first with his usual aplomb but then his legs decided to go south along with the result.
Finally Old father time took to the court vs Emyr. close all the way through but it was Emyr's youth that finally put the old man to bed.
Someday the Whitby team will run out of excuses and accept we're not as good as we thought, Naaaah. Never. |
