| Report: | Hyde brought out the big guns for this game. Rick the grandad Gregory (Obviously on stay young pills), Spiros the Greek destroyer, Jack I will run through your legs to win the point Korny, Anthony I don’t care where the ball goes as long as it’s at the speed of light Wagstaff and Jamel the Kitchen Johnson. The question on the crowds lips was did they need them. WELL NO. However Geoff the pensioner worried the Greek destroyer at times by running the right way and winning a game. But the game of the evening was the grandad against Mike I’m only 90% fit Selisny. Grandad went 2 up but 90% took the 3rd. The 4th was tight but even with the grandad picking up a knock (Falling over Jamel’s wallet) he took it 18-16.
So the big guns won however the Brooklands boys won the cottage pie eating contest. Great night great food great company but Ron get your finger out the court refurb has to be the longest in squash history.
