Report

Report: Tattenhall were looking forward to getting more points than the 1 they won last week and were hopeful for a possible win!!

Xavarian bounced in looking lean and mean though, with experienced Nick Jones at the helm😑😬.

First up old man Whitey v Luke. Luke won the knock up with style, then, at 1-0 and 7-2 up in the 2nd, looked like he was going to batter Whitey for points. Whitey dug in and went 2_1 up....even had a match ball at 14-13 in 4th. Luke raised his game again to take the 5th 11-6.

Next up young George v Mark.Geoge played some good stuff in the first, but, just lost out 13-15. Mark relaxed and let George in for the 2nd. 1 game each and looking like it could go either way....the Tattenhall home crowd were getting excited. George fell asleep for a bit and lost the 3rd 11-0....yes 11-0!!!! Mark controlled the 4th to take the match.

Next up baby faced Max v James. It looked close but James controlled the match to take the first 2. Then Max uped the tempo, at one point forcing James to dive to make a pick up. Max took the 3rd.....could Tattenhall take a match😀.......NO😢...James took the 4th.

Come on Ketts, you never lose at home.....ooooeeerrr Adam looks fit and fast....and Ketts is just back from a heavy weekend with the boys....Adam was just too strong in the 1st...11-3.....then Ketts dug deep....if it wasn't for some dodgy marking (who let Whitey ref!) Ketts may have took the 2nd. But Adam won it 17-15. A close start to the 3rd, but, Ketts ran out of petrol.

Last updated the mercurial Tom v legend Nick.Tom was hitting some wonder shots as always, but, despite his years, Nick was moving like a top athlete and picking everything up. Tom's movement was a touch slower 😀.Nick took the first two. It looked like Tom was going to get a point at 10-7 up in 3rd, but Nick kept going and closed it out 3-0.

Some great squash. Tattenhall finding the step up to div 2 a little tough. Ah well...off to the bar to start plans for next week. Well played Xavarian.
